Automatic Individual Plate Transport System

Yo-tana Offers Individual Plate Transport system in its range of Fully Automatic Filter Press.

Individual Plate Shifting System is designed to shift the Filter Plates individually one after the other with a sizable opening in order to dislodge the cake or to clean the filter cloth. 

Yo-tana Individual Plate Transport mechanism is designed such that it ensures user safety as well as safety of the Filter elements. The mechanism is completely manufactured with SS 316/SS304 MOC. The guide rails made of Stainless Steel ensures the smooth and corrosion free operation for longer life. The chain-driven Shifter carriage guides with special non-metallic self-lubricating guide blocks which ensures accurate and fault-proof plate shifting. The SS guide rails are designed such that the Chain is hidden and not exposed to the slurry/Cake contacts for minimal corrosion and contamination effect.

The shifter mechanism is driven by a Hydro motor controlled by Common Hyd. Powerpack of Filter press. Necessary Speed and Pressure controls are provided for user requirement. 

The Hydraulic drive ensures the safety and precise operations. It is designed to restrict the movement in case of any obstruction in the moving carriage. The switching of the directions of the carriage is done by Hydraulic Pressure sensors which are again controlled by common Hyd. Power Pack and Common Electric Control Panel/PLC panel. 

Plate shifting device shifts individual plates immediately after the filter press opens (I.E. After the moving end head is retracted) operated by hydro-motor with necessary chain and sprocket design.

The system is along with the plate shaking mechanism which shakes the plates to the nos. of time which helps cake to be de-loaded from the chamber. 

Yo-tana Shifter Carriage is a simple but unique design of special-purpose Docks for Shifter Lateral Movement and for smooth catching and releasing of the P.P. Plate Handles. The System is operated by a single drive connected with a common shaft to ensure parallel movement of both the carriages during plate shifting. 

Yo-tana P.P. Plates are specially designed with Auto Handles especially designed for Automatic Plate Transport mechanism. 

Yo-tana P.P. Plates with Auto handles comes with replaceable nonmetallic wear strips under the P.P. handles of the Plates for wear and tear resistance and protecting the Plates Handles from regular wear tear due to shifter movements.

 The non-metallic UHMW wear-resistant strips fixed on the top of the M.S. Flats of the Filter press ensures smooth and wear-proof movement of PP Plates during multiple operations of Plate shifting. 

An optional SS wear cap is also offered for Handles for wear resistance.
